The original entry CG to Yakusoku to Negai’s Miroku/Sango fanart contest, which I discarded early on because it was too generic. Instead of my usual two/three-tone cel-coloring style I tried a more ‘airbrushed’ look. I’m still uncertain of the results. Anyways, the contest theme involved a possible future scenario for the dynamic duo, and I got this visual in my head of them after the final, all-out battle, replete with torn, gory clothes and the two of them dancing about as though the landscape around them weren’t on fire. Heck, I think about ninety-nine percent of the Sengoku Jidai population’d be doing the same thing if Naraku finally kicked the bucket. For some reason, the song “Damaged” by TLC kept playing over and over in my head while I was sketching this down.
